Hi! My name is Lauren Massey. I am a current junior working on my Elementary Education degree. I am also minoring in Psychology. I have worked at the after school program called Kids Klub for 3 years at Delmar Elementary. I love this job because it is working towards my degree and it helps me get an idea of what is in store in the future. I also coach youth field hockey and softball. I have coached two middle school teams, one field hockey and one softball. I also coach a youth field hockey program at Delmar along with coaching for a travel field hockey team. My other coaching responsibility is coaching a travel softball team in the summer. With all this, it keeps me quite busy but I am working with young children and it makes me more excited every day to know at some point I will be making a difference in their lives in the school. I have a little sister who is my best friend. I have a wonderful, large family that I would not change for anything. I graduated from high school in 2011 with a 3.8 GPA and in the top 15 of my graduating class. I am looking forward to getting ready to take my first step into a classroom!
